Jan Knapp grew up in Chicago, IL, and later moved to Tennessee, where she graduated from Franklin High School. She attended college at Memphis State University before meeting and marrying John Knapp and joining the ranks as a Navy wife.
Jan and John’s Navy life was filled with lots of adventures and many relocations. While concentrating on her family (two children plus John), Jan finished her degree in Interior Design and worked not only in the design field but as a very successful Realtor® in Virginia and Florida.
In the summer of 2008, Jan and John relocated to Hendersonville from Tampa, FL, and have joined with Rich Cooke to form a successful real estate partnership at Keller Williams Realty Mountain Partners.
Jan is very active in the local area and is a member of the Supporting Players Guild for the Flat Rock Playhouse. She is also involved with St. James Episcopal Church and the Welcome Club of Henderson County. Jan enjoys all of the wonderful outdoor activities available in beautiful Western North Carolina.
